Investigate an ‘event’ and explore the relationships between such an event and the ‘space’ that surrounds it and a ‘form’ that encompasses it. In doing so, you will develop your design as an architectural narrative, forming proposals which are poetic expressions of ideas to ‘re-imagine’ the future of this building and its surrounding site in the context of its use as a venue.

The space that has been allocated to this project is currently occupied by St Paul’s Hall, the former church at the front of the University that is now used as a concert-hall and as a venue for University events such as degree congregations.
